(News4Jax, 2025)

Expected to be completed in early 2026...

This month Shad Khan purchased the current 14.1 acre Jacksonville fairgrounds for $15M with plans to create more games and event parking. The over $15 million purchase, completed on Feb. 5, included two downtown properties: one at 510 Fairgrounds Place, which is 13.36 acres and has three buildings built in 1990. And another property at 550 A. Philip Randolph Boulevard that is 0.74 acre and has a warehouse built in 1991, according to News4JAX’s news partner, the Jacksonville Daily Record.

“We are looking forward to welcoming our community to the 2024 and 2025 Fair in the same location we have been for decades, right next to the stadium and across from the arena,” said Bill Olson, chief executive officer and president of the Greater Jacksonville Agricultural Fair. “Anticipation is high for the future venue, and we appreciate the enthusiasm for the move, which is planned to take place in 2026.”

Officials did not provide an exact location for where the new fairgrounds will be built.
